Been a bit since I posted, but for good reason! Rerolled is now level 90, with a nice ilvl 463. My warlock has been a breath of fresh air as far as feel and play style. I have really been able to do so much with him the last few weeks, I haven't thought of playing anything else.
Currently, I am working on my rep dailies, leveling cooking (currently 600, Master of the Brew, but need to finish the other 5 Masters), working on getting my materials for Inscribed Serpent Staff and trying to gear up. I have joined a raid guild <Hide the Children>, lol the name is funny, but the raiding is serious. It is a casual guild for sure, but it feels more on the serious raider side. So fair I have been there for all the downed bosses and I am ranking in the top 4 in dps. I need to work on improving my dps some, but I feel that with gear, it will improve. The top dps in the guild is a warlock, but he out gears me by a good deal.
But besides raiding and such....my new side goal is soloing old content. So far, I have soloed MC, Gruul's Lair, Part of SCC. All as a cloth wearer! I plan to start working my way thru the old content, starting with Kara, I want to get the Tier 5 Transmog set, little nod to old Carl and his blue berry head. With this new Glyph of Demon Hunting I can acutally tank, and if you add Grimoire of Sacrifice Talent, I can get HP regen plus 30% damage increase, and with that sack of big blue, a Last stand oh shit button. Pretty effective spec for soloing old content. All thought I think soloing some of the hard content will have to wait till I get Bloodiehell my DK to 90....LK I AM COMING :D

Theramore and More..
So like everyone else, I was super excited to try my first scenario (I didn't try them in beta), and to see the fall of Theramore. As someone who has both Alliance and Horde 85's, I was even more hyped to see both sides of the event.
Horde Side, I ran this with my Warrior Madmartigan. And to say underwhelmed seems like I am not covering it enough. The horde side event was really an underwhelming cake walk of a event. There really was no challenge in this even at all. I didn't remotely get close to death, or have to be careful on pulls, I just pulled everything. I did it as fury, and pretty much ate the place, with two shadow priests. I love the aspect that I don't need a healer for the event, but I think it misses the mark in terms of challenge. In solo content, I find I have to think about my pulls, and think about what the mobs in front of me are capable of. Say if I am soloing raid content in BC with my warrior. I have to think to my self, what spec do I need, what items do I need, what enchants......now I am not saying that this needs to be the formula of the scenarios, but there needs to be some level of difficulty.
As for story line....there is really no story line at all for the instance. Basically kill X and then destroy X, done. This to me was bad game play, plan and simple.
On the flipside, the Alliance side was much better. The equation of Kill X, Destroy X was there, but there was story line, with Jana Proudmore giving you some really connection to what is going on. You feel like you a defending your people, and I found it much more challenging, and this may be because I was playing a Mage instead of a warrior. But there was differently more store line evolved and you got to see the aftermath of what the horde side of the scenario did.
So my over all thoughts on both sides of the Theramore Scenario......Grats Alliance! For the first time in a game event like this, the Alliance gets the better end of the stick as far as content.
In other news, I have been working hard on my warlock Rerolled, and I am almost 85. The class has really got enjoyable as I progress, with more then just Demo interesting me. Destruction may be the funnest instance set up I have had in a while. With how it works with Gramorium of Sacrifice, it really is close to the old BC days. I am sure that when I hit 85 Affliction will also be better, but right now, I solo with Demo, and instance with Destruction. Really digging it, and honestly It has kept me from working on any other charater. I am strongly feeling the fight for a main for pandarea is ether Lock or Monk....

Picking a Main for Mists Continued.....
In my last post I talked about the alts I am currently working on for the next expack for WoW. So some other ideas have come to mind.
Classes I like that I don't have on my server are:
- Rogue
- They have tweeked the specs to make it much much more fun
- Mage
- Again, spec changes like making frost work in a PvE Dps setting are very appealing.
With these two classes, the same thing applies, not much has changed. Rogues are the must un changed class in the game, but the tweaks to the spec, and the way the new abilities are layed out in your specialization make it so much more fluid. I currently have a 54 rogue on my alliance server that I play off and on with my girlfriend. I have played subtlety spec and it is vastly improved. Just the flow of how things work makes the spec so much more enjoyable, and on top of that, the dps in pve is greatly improved. Making backstab the main combo point builder for the spec really has helped improve the over all damage for me. This maybe something I just didn't understand before, but the helper tab in your spell book really lays it out well.
The mage on the other hand, I haven't really tried much since the patch. But what I gather from reports is that Frost is finally viable in a PvE setting. This to me draws me back to my beginnings with the game, where I was a very argent frost player. It seems worth taking a look at.

First post of randomness
So I decided to make a gaming blog, because I constantly think about games and where better to consolidate my thoughts!
So a little back story, my gaming name is Littlewing. It has been such since the days of Everquest with my wonderful Bard. I have been playing one game or another since I was a kid. I have played the gambit of games from risk, magic the gathering, D&D, to more MMO types like EQ, SWTOR, City of Heroes, WoW, etc. So I have been around for a while in the gaming arena. These days I am playing World of Warcraft.
Currently with WoW, my main is Madmartigan an 85 Tauren Warrior on Ysondre US. This warrior happens to be my oldest charter, one I have transferred around a few times. Due to the lual between expansions (Mist comes out on the 25th finally!) I haven't been playing him much. I have focused instead on my huge list of alts, and try to figure out who I want to play! Now I titled this blog Rerolled because that is something I have done pretty much every expansion of games. I have always liked the aspect of switching my role up and experiencing the games I play from the other side. Wether it was going from player in a campaign in D&D to being the Dungeon master, to switching alliance to horde. I have always rerolled. This expack is no different, currently I have 3 alts I am work with to see who I stick with, with a possible 4th coming when Mist's hits.
The Alts:

The Alts:
- Blood DK : Bloodiehell 85: Originally this character was made to be a farming alt, you know the deal, mining and herbing as trade skills, no real investment of time or energy. Just log on when I need one or the other, and because DK's are so hard to kill it will be easy right?
- Warlock: Rerolled 77: The namesake of the blog! The warlock class finally got alot of love, and I am taking a hard swing at it. I have leveled up relatively fast, and almost maxed inscription. I am really enjoying Demo right now, with it's bag of tricks.
- Shaman: Bwahahaha 63: My shaman really is a scary alt. In the past I have played a shaman as a main (BC on alliance) and it became the most spastic class I have ever played. I couldn't for the life of me pick a single spec to stay with.....
- Monk: Unnamed (waiting for mists): I have tested the class out in beta, and really enjoyed how it really is a very flowing class. Both the Tanking and DPS specs really interest me, but as for the healing I really haven't tried it much yet.
Now there are several pro's and con's for me on all these alts:
- Bloodiehell
- I really only play Blood. I haven't really got into playing ether of the two dps specs for the class. Honestly with how powerful the class is in blood for soloing, I find it hard to imagine picking another spec.
- Rerolled
- I haven't for the life of me figured out how to do any other spec then demo. That may have something to do with my level.
- Bwahahaha
- I am very very very very spastic in this class. I like all three specs, but the problem is I can never stick with one. Currently elemental is holding my attention with Enhancement trailing. But I am not sure this is a class I can stay in one job for very long without craving more..
- The Monk
- ......I can't level one yet? and there is going to be 5 million of them?
With all this in mind, I have also considered rerolling mains from my past. The mains I have had in each exspaintion:
- Classic: Mage- Littlewing (Alliance)
- BC: Shaman- Littlefury (Alliance)
- Wrath Paladin- Rerolled (Horde)
- Cata Warrior- Madmartigan (Horde)
- Mist....???
The mage class really has come back with fire and FROST finally is a viable dps spec. Which really makes me want to play one again. But that is an issue as my Mage is still alliance, and I am not sure I really want to play a new mage.
More thoughts to come!
